Founded by creative director and consultant Hannah Tyler, Genius at Large (GAL) was born out of a desire to help independent brands feel seen in a way that feels beautiful, cohesive, and true.

Founder / Creative Director
Hannah’s background in both in-house and consultant settings has given her a holistic understanding of what it takes to build a brand from the ground up. Her work is informed by a sharp design sensibility, a collaborative spirit, and a deep love of storytelling.
Originally from Seattle and now based in LA, Hannah’s creative perspective is shaped by her roots in the Pacific Northwest — where time was often split between exploring forests and spending rainy days indoors. Outside the studio, she can usually be found buried under her two cats, Cowboy & Ruby, or capturing her friendships through Portra 400.
Katelyn Gardner-Kelly
Art Director / Branding Genius
Katelyn Gardner-Kelley is a Los Angeles based Creative Director and Stylist with over a decade of experience in the fashion and creative industry.
Specializing in art direction and brand identity, her love for storytelling guides her innate visual process and expression. Blending her extensive skill set with her passion for visual creation, she lends her expertise and passion to creating for clients to elevate and expand their brand.
